Tatsuki Fujimoto is the creator of the Japanese manga series Chainsaw Man Part 2. Between December 2018 and December 2020, the first half of this story ran in Shueisha’s shnen manga magazine Weekly Shnen Jump, and the second half will run in Shueisha’s online magazine Shonen Jump+, beginning in July 2022.
The 12 volumes containing its chapters were completed in October 2022. In the film Chainsaw Man, we meet Denji, a young man from humble beginnings who strikes a deal with a dog-like devil named Pochita, joining their bodies and giving him the ability to transform his own limbs into deadly chainsaws.
Denji joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government agency that eliminates demonic threats to Japan. High school student Asa Mitaka is the protagonist of the second storyline. After making a deal with Yoru the War Devil, she is tasked with locating and eliminating Chainsaw Man so that she can reclaim her stolen devils.
Chainsaw Man Part 2 Release Date
The second volume of the manga and the anime adaptation both have scheduled premieres for 2022, as announced on the Unofficial Weekly Shonen Jump Twitter page on December 3, 2021. The second volume of the Chainsaw Man manga was announced to premiere in the summer of 2023 at the 2022 Jump Festa event, much to the dismay of readers around the world.
Conversely, the most recent and most exciting development as of today, June 20 is that the release date for Chainsaw Man Part 2 has been set for July 13, 2022! On July 13th, as the manga’s editor Shihei Lin originally announced on social media, the series will launch in serial form in Jump Plus.
The deputy editor of Shonen Jump, @momiyama2019, announced in a subsequent tweet that Part 2 will be serialised on Manga Plus in English, Spanish, Thai, French, and Portuguese. The post will be updated as new information about the highly anticipated second volume of the Chainsaw Man manga becomes available online.
The internet is about to be broken by Chainsaw Man.
The first promotional trailer for the Chainsaw Man anime series was shown at the MAPPA 10th Anniversary celebration in June 2021, alongside early news of the manga’s revival that Summer. Fans expect the show to premiere in October 2022 as part of the Fall television schedule, but no official date has been announced.
However, a series of ‘leaks’ have already caused concern in the community; user ‘rcco r0nd0’ claims that approximately half of the output will be conventional 2D art and the other half will be CGI animation. To be fair, “rcco r0nd0” did admit that “the Computer Generation animation is being used extremely smartly,” but they also acknowledged that the term “CG” might make purists uncomfortable.

Chainsaw Man Part 2 Have Enough Material Or Not?
Chainsaw Man, the violent manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, is back after a two-year hiatus, and it follows a man named Denji who gains the ability to transform into chainsaws (it makes sense, I promise). Chapter 98 is the beginning of Chainsaw Man Part 2, and it can be read online at Shonen Jump.
The return of the Chainsaw Man is riding a wave of excitement due to an upcoming (and horrifyingly gorgeous-looking) anime adaptation by Studio MAPPA, the renowned studio behind the current anime smash Jujutsu Kaisen and fan favourite Yuri!!! on Ice.
There is currently no set date for the release of the Chainsaw Man anime, but one is anticipated. On the other hand, new chapters of the Chainsaw Man manga are released every Tuesday. More importantly, if you’ve been on the fence about giving it a shot, now is the time to do so. Rarely do you hear about a man who can transform his own arms into lethal chainsaws, but this guy can. Oh, my goodness, that is a work of art.

Chainsaw Man Part 2 Plotline
Asa Mitaka, a freshman at Fourth East High School, is having a hard time adjusting to life after the death of her mother, who was killed by Typhoon Devil. After accidentally killing the class pet Chicken Devil Bucky, she is confronted by the Class President, who has made a deal with the Justice Devil.
In spite of the War Devil’s best efforts, Asa will be killed. Yoru makes a birdlike appearance and makes a deal with her, saying that he will inhabit her body in exchange for the death of Chainsaw Man. After taking swift vengeance, Asa now wants Yoru out of her body, while Yoru wants the Nuclear Weapons Devil that Pochita swallowed back for herself. Chainsaw Man is wanted by both parties. As a result of Yoshida and Yuko’s friendship, they are invited to join the school’s Devil Hunter Club.
Meanwhile, Denji is taking full advantage of the attention he’s getting as a superhero by continuing his regular high school studies at Fourth East High. Yoshida shadows him as part of an unknown mission. Knowing that Denji is desperate for a romantic partner, Yoshida sets him up with Asa. Denji is called a “loser” in front of Asa when he tries to tell her he is Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man Part 1 Recap
After a tense encounter, Denji manages to capture the Katana Man at the end of the first season of Chainsaw Man. As the rest of Tokyo Special Division 4 completes the mission, they gather the remaining pieces of the gun devil and begin to advance on its location. They have also captured Akane, the woman in charge of both the snake devil and the ghost devil.
It turned out that she was in contact with the gun devil and had plotted to have Makima’s entire squad wiped out by a group of local thugs. Akane took her own life with the help of the snake devil before the squad could question her. After explaining the situation to her superiors, Makima insisted that it could be related to the failed contract she had with the gun devil.
