On December 22, 2022, Dave Burd, nicknamed Lil Dicky, confirmed on his Instagram account that the third season’s filming was complete. A two-episode launch of Dave is scheduled for April 5, 2023, on FXX. The third season will be accessible for streaming on Hulu the following day. Dave Season 3 Plotline
The series’ official summary reads as follows…
“David is looking for a partner because he is the star of his first tour. But as he and the group tour the nation, they discover firsthand how varied American culture is and how frequently fame interferes with friendship and love.” In the first two seasons, the main character experienced a lot of stress due to his failures, the death of friends, and heartbreak. We also saw the rapper’s dreams, in which he saw an alien version of himself and ate his friend’s body parts. We therefore mean it when we remark that this show has grown rather strange.

Naturally, David Burd will return to play himself. When the rapper uploaded a music video for his song “Ex-Boyfriend” to YouTube in 2013, we witnessed his celebrity grow. The song depicts the feelings one experiences upon meeting your girlfriend’s hotter ex-boyfriend.
The song garnered over a million views in only 24 hours, turning the rapper into an overnight internet sensation. Andrew Santino will make a comeback to play Lil Dicky’s manager and pal. Travis Bennet will also appear as Elz. Taylor Misiak, who played Ally and the one who got away, might make a comeback.

Dave Season 3 Trailer
On March 1, 2023, FX released the official teaser trailer for Season 3 of Dave, which was done in Lil Dicky’s well-known surreal style. In the teaser, Johnny Lee’s song “Looking For Love in All the Wrong Places” is playing as the rapper’s hair bounces around different settings.
Later in the clip, Lil Dicky and GaTa can be seen riding a massive pink tour bus down a dusty road while singing along to the country music. The bus nearly crashes as tumbleweed hits the windscreen. The caravan gives us a peek of the rapper starting his debut tour and the incredibly diverse places he will visit, even though it doesn’t give away much about the next season.
The official Dave Season 3 full-length trailer, which provided a more thorough look at the season, was released on March 17, 2023. The film teases a lot of laughs as well as important occasions, such as Dave attending the Met Gala. Look at it below:

Dave Season 3 Producers And Directors
David Burd and Jeff Schaffer collaborated on Dave’s creation. Successful author and producer Schaffer is well-known for his work on Seinfeld, EuroTrip, The League, and CurbYour Enthusiasm.
The two are able to create something mesmerizingly odd, intensely emotional, and wholly original by expertly balancing their respective creative humour styles. Together with Marty Bowen, Mike Hertz, Saladin K. Patterson, James Shin, Scooter Braun, Kevin Hart, Greg Mottola, Luvh Rakhe, Scott Manson, and Ben Sinclair, Burd and Schaffer serve as the show’s executive producers.
