Dead Ringers: Another highly awaited series for lovers of psychological dramas is finally here, this one a return in the form of a series with a contemporary spin on the events that have transpired. Dead Ringers is based on Twins, a book by Bari Wood and Jack Geasland from 1977. The twin gynaecologists of New York City, Stewart and Cyril Marcus, served as inspiration for the two original works. Despite having successful careers as reproductive specialists, their deaths in 1975 received additional attention around which the narrative is based.

Dead Ringers Plotline
Synopsis: “A modern take on David Cronenberg’s 1988 thriller starring Jeremy Irons, Dead Ringers will feature Rachel Weisz in the dual lead roles of Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes—including pushing the boundaries on medical ethics—to challenge antiquated practises and bring women’s health care to the forefront.”
