As the second season of the brutal crime thriller Gangs Of London Season 3 became available as a boxset on Sky and the streaming service NOW, viewers naturally became curious about the show’s future.
In the most recent episodes, p Drsù, who plays former undercover cop turned ruthless enforcer Elliot Finch, led the ensemble in exploring the horrific power struggle between rival organized criminal syndicates in the nation’s capital.
The season 2 finale of Gangs of London shocked fans by revealing the fate of a key character from the first season who was absent for most of the second installment.

It’s unclear at this point whether or not this criminal story will be continued for Gangs Of London Season 3, but there are still plenty of loose ends to explore.
What little we know about Gangs Of London Season 3 is below.
Gangs Of London Season 3 Happen Or Not?
When it premiered in 2020, Sky’s Gangs of London was an instant hit and became a ratings phenomenon for the network. The second season ups the ante on brutality and features some magnificent action sequences, but it ultimately fails to wrap up any of its major storylines.
After finishing it, you might be curious as to whether or not this series will continue. What were you thinking?
While Sky has not yet renewed Gangs Of London Season 3, it seems inevitable that they will. In other words, nothing is resolved by the end of the episode, but all the pieces are in place for an exciting Gangs Of London Season 3. You can review the events in our ending explained article if you need a refresher.
Before deciding whether or not to renew a show, streaming services typically consider a number of factors, including the show’s overall viewership and its subsequent decline in viewership. It doesn’t take long for networks to decide whether or not to cancel or renew certain shows. Sometimes a show’s fate is decided upon immediately, and other times it can take months. Sky usually takes her time thinking something through before committing to a course of action. It’s also important to note that the show airs weekly on Sky Atlantic and is released simultaneously on NowTV and Sky OnDemand, so we may not know anything certain for a while.
The reaction to Gangs of London season 2 has been somewhat lukewarm thus far. We believe, however, that Gangs of London will be picked up for a second season because of how this one concludes.
When new information becomes available, it will be posted here immediately.
Gangs Of London Season 3 Release Date
All that’s needed for season three of dominoes is a little push.
There has been no official word on whether or not there will be a second season, but that seems unlikely at this point. We really need resolutions to the cliffhangers listed below.
Showrunner Corin Hardy expressed his expectations for the upcoming Gangs Of London Season 3, saying:
“We can absolutely expect a Gangs Of London Season 3. To some extent, I believe that everyone has a desire to share their tale and a secret wish that they’ll have the good fortune to do so, but whether or not they succeed in doing so depends on the audience’s reaction.”
Season three has a decent chance of being renewed if audiences are as interested in hearing about the show’s future as you are. When exactly it will hit the screens is a another thing.
Cast of Gangs Of London Season 3
Season two of Gangs of London premiered two years after the conclusion of season one. The cinematic scale and quality undoubtedly contributed greatly to the length of time they had to wait. This is still an issue, but it shouldn’t affect Season 3’s development or release schedule as much as it did Seasons 1 and 2. Gangs Of London Season 3 cast
Given that Joe Cole’s Sean Wallace has only recently returned, we don’t expect him to leave anytime soon.
A challenge is inevitable in his wake, even from behind bars, and the rivalry between Sean and Elliot is the perfect way to end season two.
We can assume that p Drsù will return as Elliot if the show continues in the same vein. Elliot has recast his identity on the streets of London through his relationships with the Dumani family (more on that below). Lucian Msamati and Pippa Bennett-Warner, who play Ed Dumani and Shannon, respectively, will almost certainly reprise their roles thanks to their cooperation.
Also, the following are likely to make a comeback:
Casting: Michelle Fairley as Marian Wallace
Performer: Brian Vernel as Billy Wallace
- Luan and Orli Shuka
- Asif Raza Mir posing as Asif Afridi…
- Lale, played by Narges Rashid
- As Saba, Jahz Armando
In this case, Fady Elsayed will play the role of Faz.
Arta Dobroshi’s Florinana (who was killed by a bullet to the head for betraying the Wallaces at the last minute) and Koba (Waleed Zuaiter), Afridi’s enforcer, did not survive the street battles. Koba had one too many close calls and ate a poisoned chip shop burger to his doom.
Alex Dumani, played by Paapa Essiedu, was eliminated in the first episode. Unfortunately, Alex took his own life when he realised he would never be free of the Investors’ grasp.
When will Season 2 of Gangs of London air, and what will it be about?
A year has passed since Sean Wallace’s death, and this story takes place then. Asif has installed his new lapdog Koba to terrorise the competition and keep the peace in the streets. Nonetheless, a subversive movement is percolating, with the aim of toppling this new global order from its perch.
Elliot is caught in the middle of everything; he continues to work for Miss Kane, but only because he desperately needs his father’s release from captivity. At about the time when Billy Wallace returns to London after an absence, he gets engaged in the gang battle once again. Therefore, everyone is thrust once more into the centre of the activity.
