Havoc Tom Hardy stars as the main character in the forthcoming crime drama Havoc. Gareth Evans, who is also writing the film’s narrative, will helm the project. His films The Raid, The Raid 2, and Merantau are among the best-known examples of the martial arts genre. Deadlines claims that work on the project has been ongoing for years. What little information we have about Havoc is detailed here.
Havoc Plotline
According to Deadline, the premise centres on “a battered investigator who must battle his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged kid while unravelling a complex web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his whole city” in the aftermath of a botched drug sale. To quote the director’s comments to Deadline: “That movie is absolutely a separate project. Unfortunately, there are no immediate plans to turn it into a franchise. If I propose something and I believe it has legs and it might be part one of two or three or anywhere, then I think that’s a dialogue to be had.

Havoc All Updates
Evans provided a detailed update on the film’s development in an Instagram post: “Fully conscious of my radio silence about Havoc for some time, just wanted to take the chance to inform you all on the status of the film has noticed a lot of queries crop up on a couple of my posts recently.” We’re continuing hard at work on the project, doing all we can to make the movie perfect.
This includes some supplementary photography that we want to do shortly (we’re nearly there), but even after that it will be some months before the film is finished and ready for distribution. We apologise, but no teasers or trailers will be released until the film is finished and all VFX work has been done. We anticipate that this will happen in the summer of 2019 and that materials will roll out in the third or fourth quarter of 2019.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
