Hit Monkey Season 2 Plot

The first season of Hit-Monkey received mostly positive reviews from critics. At the end of the first season of Hit-Monkey, we saw that Bryce used salt to make himself somewhat corporeal and then distracted Lady Bullseye so that Haruka could murder her.

While Yokohama and Akiko make it out of the building safely, Yokohama later regretfully accepts responsibility for Takahara’s death. He accepts the Bonsai Master’s offer of assistance after expressing his disappointment in his continued electoral failures.

Then, Hit-Monkey shows up intending to kill Yokohama, but Bryce dissuades him and lets Yokohama live to fight another day. To prevent Haruka from arresting Yokohama, he takes her gun and orders Hit-Monkey to shoot him, critically injuring Akiko in the process.

Eventually, after Haruka of Monkey makes a promise to exonerate Hit-name, she helps him escape Japan in secret. Then, after making a deal with the devil Mephisto, Bryce comes back from Hell because he couldn’t bear to abandon Hit-Monkey. He can manipulate physical objects now.

While in the mortuary, Akiko takes the mask off Lady Bulleyes and makes a vengeance oath against Hit-Monkey. What follows next shall be seen. It appears that Season 2 of Hit-Monkey will continue from where Season 1 left off, rather than starting from scratch.

Contrarily, Yokohama and Akiko make it to the roof, where Yokohama reluctantly admits his role in Takahara’s death. They, too, were sick of his election losses and began rallying behind Bonsai Master.

Yokohama is about to meet his end as Hit-Monkey arrives to kill him. But Bryce talks him down and lets him go up.

Yokohama is being sought for arrest by Haruka. He seizes the weapon from her and forces Hit-Monkey to fire, killing the monkey. And this is how we end up destroying Akiko as well.

Hit Monkey is later smuggled out of Japan by Haruka, who says she will exonerate him. Bryce, having made a deal with Mephisto, is freed from Hell and finds that he can manipulate inanimate objects.

In the morgue, Akiko, Lady Bulleyes, and Hit-Monkey swear vengeance. Let’s see what the future holds.

Season two of Hit-show Monkey’s won’t be a fresh start, but rather a continuation of the events of season one.
