Kengan Ashura Season 2 Plotline
The martial art of karate is the focus of Kengan Ashura, a Netflix original anime series. This animated adaptation was based on the manga by Yubako Sandrovich. Larx Entertainment is responsible for the animation, and Netflix is responsible for the worldwide distribution.
The usage of gladiators in battle dates back to the Edo period of Japanese history. Rich and powerful businessmen use gladiators as a means of entertainment and profit in the arenas.
As soon as Tokita Ohma enters the arenas, he becomes an unstoppable force, destroying everyone in his path. Tokita Ohma’s reputation as a devastatingly effective fighter makes him a sought-after opponent.
Tokita Ohma is competing for Yamashita Trading Company in the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. Tokita Ohma can’t wait to prove himself in battle against other gladiators.
Ohma faced Raina in the second round, and by season’s end, he had made it to the quarterfinals, which is the third round. Remember that if you make it past the quarterfinals, you still have a shot at making it to the championship game. This suggests that the story still has a lot of layers.

Kengan Ashura Season 2 Cast And Main Lead
Tatsuhisa Suzuki, a Japanese voice actor, will be returning to his role as Tokita Ohma. His voice work in the anime adaptations of Kick-Heart by Masaaki Yuasa and the Pokemon series has made him well-known.
Kaiji Tang, who voices Ohma, also portrayed the villainous Sanemi Shinazugawa in the English adaptation of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train and the formidable tutor Satoru Gojou in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Cho voices Kazuo Yamashita in the original Japanese release, while Keith Silverstein does so in the English dub.
Inquirer stated that prolific voice actor Keiji Fujiwara passed away in April 2020 from cancer, therefore if Kengan Ashura were to return for Season 2, a new actor would have to be cast as Tokita, Ohma’s surrogate father.
Kengan Ashura Season 2 Based On Original Manga
The anime’s faithfulness to the manga gives us a good idea of where the story could go next season.
The final showdown between Ohma and Raian of the Kure Clan took place in volumes 10–18, concluding the first season. Season 2 of the anime would be based on chapters 18–27 of the manga (if the plot maintains true to the source material).
The editor of Kengan Ashura: Omega (a successor to the original manga) announced on Twitter what many had anticipated all along: that season 2 would be the series’ last. This means that Ohma’s fights against the world’s best fighters during his time as a corporate gladiator will take center stage.
In October 2021, Comikey released the first episode of the Kengan Ashura anime series in English. Every week, Comikey publishes an average of three new chapters (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays).

Kengan Ashura Season 1 Recap
In Japan, gladiator arenas can be traced back to at least the Edo period. The wealthy merchants and businessmen of Kengan pay gladiators to participate in unarmed Kengan contests where the winner takes all. An anonymous alley brawl is overheard by Yamashita Kazuo, an ordinary Japanese salaryman at Nogi Group. One of the competitors, Tokita “Ashura” Ohma, catches the attention of Nogi Group CEO Nogi Hideki after defeating their former fighter in a street fight.
Ohma, under Kazuo’s watchful eye, enters these tournaments with one goal in mind: to wipe out all of his opponents. Big businessmen take notice of his incredible crushing power, and Hideki invites him to compete in the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. Top Japanese business leaders vie for the honor of leading the Kengan Association as its chairman. Ohma puts his abilities to the test while dealing with the fallout of his unusual upbringing, and Kazuo has a hard time keeping Ohma under control while trying to figure out why he was invited to this tournament.
