When Will Lockwood & Co. Season 2 Be Available? America is fortunate to have its own Ghostbusters to aid in the battle against ghosts and other supernatural beings. What about us, I ask? Paranormal activity is not limited to the United Kingdom.
Netflix’s new series Lockwood & Co., adapted from Jonathan Stroud’s young adult books, levels the playing field by making the show available to viewers on both sides of the Atlantic for the first time. Only criticism we have about Joe Cornish (the show’s creator, writer, and director) is that the first season requires more than eight episodes.
This was really good. A surprisingly short binge. Fun world building, great pacing, cool story. Seems to adapt the first 2 books. We really enjoyed it. Hope there is a season 2.

So, we at Digital Spy would like to invite you to get some salt bombs and join us in discussing the new season of Lockwood & Co on Netflix.
Lockwood & Co. Season 2 Happen Or Not?
There is no information available at this time about Netflix’s renewal of Lockwood & Co. The program’s first season premiere was announced in September 2017, and it wasn’t until December of 2020 that Netflix stated they had purchased the rights to air the show. The show’s filming would start in July 2021, with the premiere date set for January 2023.
Lockwood & Co. season 1 quickly became one of Netflix’s most-watched series within the first few days of its debut, giving hope to those who hoped the show would be renewed for a second season.
Considering Netflix’s track record of cancellations, it’s conceivable that Lockwood & Co. won’t return for a second season. However, if it does, the Golden Blade and Penelope Fittes will be ready to continue their roles as season one’s villains. The bone glass mirror, which was broken and destined for the DEPRAC furnaces at the conclusion of Season 1, may be spared from destruction in order to provide insight into The Problem.
What Lucy saw in the mirror before he was startled into silence also has to be explained by his Type Three skull, which isn’t exactly welcoming. Season 2 of Lockwood & Company will pick up where the first left off, with Lockwood, Lucy, and George all processing the trauma they endured before the show premiered and again in the first few episodes of the second season.
Lockwood & Co. Season 2 Release Date
A season of a Netflix original series may take anywhere from 12 to 18 months to finish once the series begins. If the second season of Lockwood & Co. gets picked up, it would likely return in the early spring of 2024.
Considering Netflix’s recent cancellation spree, the adaptation will need to do exceptionally well in the ratings if it hopes to be revived.

Lockwood & Co. Season 2 Cast And Main Lead
To the best of our knowledge, all of Lockwood and Company’s original season 1 cast members are eligible to return for season 2. That means that Ruby Stokes, Cameron Chapman, and Ali Hadji-Heshmati will soon be back together as a paranormal research team.
On the other hand, Louise Brealey, who portrayed Pamela Joplin, will not be returning. Unfortunately for Pamela, the ghosts in the spirit glass mirror finally won out.
- Ruby Stokes’s character, Lucy Carlyle.
- Anthony Lockwood is played by Cameron Chapman.
- Michael Clarke as George Karim and Ali Hadji-Heshmati as Karim’s skull
- The role of Detective Barnes was portrayed by Ivanno Jeremiah
- The Golden Blade, portrayed by Luke Treadaway

Lockwood & Co. Season 2 Plotline
Though Cornish may go in any number of various routes with Lockwood and CO, we’re crossing our fingers that the second season will finally reveal what’s beyond Lockwood’s hidden door.
Firstly, there are the claims made by the Golden Blade about Lockwood’s family and his past with Penelope Fittes. George, on his part, wonders where “The Problem” first arose.
Going to the books will help us see where the programme is going in the future. The first season was adapted from the first two books in Stroud’s series, The Screaming Staircase and The Whispering Skull. Then, The Hollow Boy and The Creeping Shadow would presumably be covered in Lockwood & Co.’s second season.
These books follow Lockwood, Lucy, and George’s exploits as they investigate the background of the Brixton Cannibal and take on a travelling carnival of assassins.
Lockwood & Co. Season 2 Where Can We Watch
Lockwood and Co. consists of eight episodes, all of which are exclusive to Netflix. Feel free to watch the full series in one sitting if you’ve previously done so. Here, your every need will be met.

Conclusion-
In conclusion, it was a very spectacular production. There wasn’t a single mistake in it. I think it’s even better than the novels! That’s saying something, since it’s not easy to make a TV programme that does the novels justice. As someone who has seen every episode, I can say without a doubt that this is a must-see. There is drama, intrigue, camaraderie, potential romantic interest, and even some lighthearted moments. These performers do such a wonderful job of capturing the essence of their respective personas. I wish there was a way to give it more than 5 stars! Hope season 2 is picked up.
