James Gunn and John Cena recently took to their official Twitter account to say that the show was going to be renewed. They said that Peacemaker season 2 was going to be on HBO Max. While the creators have said that Peacemaker season 2 will be out soon, they haven’t said when it will be out yet.

The Plotline of “Peacemaker” Season 2
Episode 01 – “A Whole New Whirled”
The Suicide Squad mission in Corto Maltese gets Christopher Smith / Peacemaker out of the hospital. Then there’s Clemson Murn, Emilia Harcourt, John Economos, and Leota Adebayo. Smith reluctantly accepts Murn’s invitation to join “Project Butterfly.” To retrieve Eagly, Smith meets Auggie.
Murn brings him an assassination dossier after supper. Smith then flirts with Harcourt in a tavern but is turned down and goes home with Annie Sturphausen. Sturphausen assaults Smith, exhibiting superhuman strength. Later in the fight, Smith utilizes a sonic boom weapon in his helmet to kill her.
Episode 02 – “Best Friend, for Never”
Smith phones Harcourt during the sonic explosion to express his issue. He discovers a curious device in Sturphausen’s flat while packing. Smith, Eagly, Harcourt, and Adebayo escape from their apartment’s balcony after keeping a couple of hostages. Sophie Song and Larry Fitzgibbon are probing Sturphausen’s death.
Adebayo bribes the two with a gun to name Auggie as their kidnapper. Auggie’s white captives call him “White Dragon.” Smith feels Sturphausen sought to assault him after examining his target’s paperwork. Smith returns to his trailer, feeling abandoned, to find his erstwhile partner in crime. It’s a mini-spaceship, says Vigilante, asking Smith to shoot it.
Episode 03 – “Better Goff Dead”
Murn and Smith’s initial target is Sen. Royland Goff. Smith, who previously declared he would kill Goff’s wife and children for “peace,” suddenly shows hesitancy. A Vigilante joins Smith and Harcourt to stake off the Goff homestead.
Murn tells Smith to kill the Goffs if they act like aliens. Before Goff is slain, Judomaster disables Smith and Vigilante. To gain Smith’s information, Goff tortures Vigilante, revealing him as Adrian Chase. Smith kills Goff while Economos disables Judomaster. An A.R.G.U.S. computer shows these Butterflies are believed to be worldwide.
Episode 04 – “The Choad Less Traveled”
They say Smith murdered the Butterfly. Smith finds Auggie has been framed and imprisoned while getting new equipment. Against Murn’s wishes, Auggie threatens to divulge Project Butterfly to the authorities. Chase is imprisoned to assassinate Auggie, and Adebayo tells Smith to remain without his father. A fugitive Judomaster confronts Smith.
A Butterfly secret is revealed before Judomaster is shot. His trailer still has the Butterfly thing as he mulls on killing Rick Flag[a] and his traumatic childhood that included his brother’s death. But Chase can’t draw Auggie into his jailmates’ conflicts. Then Harcourt rescues. Adebayo finds a Butterflies lead and informs Murn.
Episode 05 – “Monkey Dory”
Song and Fitzgibbon find Smith killed Sturphausen at Auggie’s urging after re-interrogating the couple Smith had hostage. A mysterious amber fluid feeds the Butterflies only when they enter human hosts. Adebayo leads them to a nearby bottling business to process and bottle the liquor.
Song appeals to her uncle, a judge. Smith encounters a fugitive gorilla named Charlie using his X-ray vision in his helmet. A chainsaw kills Charlie, gaining him Smith’s respect. Smith invites Adebayo over for a drink to celebrate their accomplishment. Waller invites her to leave a diary at his house. When Adebayo returns with Smith’s X-ray helmet, he confronts Murn.
Episode 06 – “Murn After Reading”
Murn informs Adebayo that they came from a dying planet, and the Goff Butterfly brought them to Earth. Song, much to Locke’s disgust, arrests Auggie. But Evergreen cops arrive to arrest Smith. With Song in hand, Chase breaks the Butterfly’s container. Locke obtains the bogus journal from Smith, Chase, and Eagly.
According to Economos, the Butterflies use a “cow” to mass-produce amber fluid at Coverdale Ranch. To Smith and her mother, Adebayo keeps secrets. Butterfly-Song takes over Locke, the Evergreen cops, and the hostages. Auggie’s henchmen are ready to slaughter his son in White Dragon armor. To get an arrest warrant, Leah Butterfly-Locke develops a fake diary.
Episode 07 – “Stop Dragon My Heart Around”
Auggie and his friends intercept them on their way to find the cow. Harcourt finds Adebayo’s underlying goal and her connection to Waller. Murn pursues them, but the Butterfly-possessed officers kill him. Judomaster attacks Harcourt and Adebayo. Adebayo tases him and he falls. Auggie’s gang captures Smith. Chase destroys Auggie’s weapons and kills his supporters while Economos disables his armor.
Auggie confronted Smith after he accidentally killed his brother Keith as a child. The crew regroups near Eagly’s recovery. The crew replaces Murn with Harcourt, who informs them of the Butterflies’ intention to move the cow. Adebayo apologizes to Smith before the squad slaughters the cow.
Episode 08 – “It’s Cow or Never”
Due to timing restrictions, Adebayo asks Waller for help. But Economos’ sonic boom helmet doesn’t kill the cow. These three lead the way. But Harcourt and Chase die. ADEBAYO SAVES HARCOURT Smith encounters Butterfly-Song, who spares him and pleads for his aid in achieving peace.
Smith responds by murdering the cow with Adebayo. In the end, Smith saves Song’s life. Regrettably, the Justice League is late. Assisting Harcourt and Chase with medical needs. Project Butterfly, Task Force X, and Waller’s involvement clean Smith’s name. Smith is plagued by thoughts of Auggie, who fled from Belle Reve Prison.
Is Viewers Love The Series Of Peacemaker Season 2?
Rotten Tomatoes, a site that collects reviews, said that 95 percent of people thought the movie was good, with an average rating of 7.7/10 out of 74 reviews. Metacritic gave it a weighted average score of 69 out of 100 based on reviews from 24 critics, which means that “most reviews are good.”
iGN said that the first three episodes got an 8 out of 10. They said that the three-episode premiere “offers a goofy takedown of vigilantism,” and they praised the cast’s performances and humor. IMDb also gives an 8.5/10 to the show.
The Guardian gave the first three episodes 3 out of 5. There are some good and some bad things about James Gunn’s Suicide Squad character getting his own HBO Max series. “

When Will Peacemaker Season 2 be on HBO Max again?
There will be! HBO Max has renewed Peacemaker for Season 2. This isn’t a surprise, but it isn’t a bad thing either, either. There’s still a lot of story to tell, and James Gunn has talked freely about how he wants the show to last for a long time.
He will get what he wants, but we don’t know when. Gunn still has to finish up Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. That’s why the announcement didn’t say when Season 2 would start.
If you look at the end of Season 1, though, there are still a lot of unanswered questions for next season. Will Peacemaker and Harcourt get closer? Is Leota done with being a superhero for good this time around? Uh, how will Waller treat Economos now that he’s back at work?
Then does Human Murn have any family or friends who want to know where he is? Finally, will Peacemaker move forward in time and get into a lot of grunge in Season 2? Oh, and what about Season 2?

Season after season, I’d happily watch Peacemaker because it combines comedy, suspense, drama, and action in a way that’s never monotonous or predictable. Everyone in the cast is fantastic in their own unique manner, and they did an excellent job of capturing the rich variety of the United States while also acknowledging that certain individuals will never be able to change.
