Less than two weeks after Season 2 of Rosewood ended on April 28, the show has been cancelled, with 44 episodes having aired. Considering how abruptly Rosewood ended, it’s safe to say that the writers were hoping for a little more from the network in terms of the show’s future.
I don’t want to give anything away, but there were a few characters that seemed to be departing the show, however there were several exceptions, and the episode ended before anything was made apparent. Fans are sure to be curious about what creator Todd Harthan has in mind for the next chapter of the series. Despite the fact that it’ll probably have to come directly from his lips, rather than on primetime television.
In addition to the creator and performer, other cast members such as Jaina Lee Ortiz, Gabrielle Dennis, Lorraine Toussaint and Domenick Lombardozzi are likely to be affected by the news. As a result of Morris Chestnut’s upbeat and upbeat declaration, you wouldn’t know it.

Definitely one of my favourites. Although I was envious of Morris Chestnut’s romance with Jaina Lee Ortiz (haha), their on-camera chemistry was fantastic. This programme dealt with a wide range of topics, including interracial dating, gay partnerships, families, and social standing, to name just a few.
To me, there is nothing like a good criminal show, although they always have dry periods for me. They hadn’t been around long enough to find out whether they will ever reach that stage, but I doubt it! This programme was incredibly enjoyable and relevant, and I wish it had lasted longer. So what? I’ll have two seasons to look forward to for the rest of my life.
They were cancelled for a reason, for those who are curious: According to what I’ve read, the second season’s ratings plummeted once the start date was shifted. In order to make room for the Lee Daniels drama Empire, Rosewood was shifted from Wednesdays to Thursdays. I’m curious whether people were misinformed, if they assumed it had been cancelled, or if they were preoccupied with Empire instead (being that the first season was the best season that show has ever had).
