Fans of the Rune Factory RPG series have been waiting a long time for a new installment since Rune Factory 4 is now approaching its 10-year anniversary.
Rune Factory 5 was also scheduled to be released in 2020 but was postponed owing to a lack of funds.
Developed and published by Marvelous, Rune Factory 5 is a role-playing simulation video game for the Nintendo Switch platform. In May 2021, Xseed Games produced the first Rune Factory game since 2012’s Rune Factory 4, which was released internationally in March 2022.
However, Rune Factory 5’s release is now only a matter of hours away. The date, time, and cost have been set for the product’s formal release.
Rune Factory About What?
The next Rune Factory simulation RPG installment takes you on a huge quest across a fantastical realm. They arrive at a town called Rigbarth after losing their memories. Their new existence starts when they are accepted into a group of rangers who are tasked with maintaining peace in the region. Afterward, the protagonist goes to the girl’s aid and is grateful for it, then invites them to Seed, a security firm. As a way to keep the peace in the town, the protagonist must investigate a variety of crimes.
Additionally, the protagonist is able to maintain the farm, toss a fishing line into the adjacent river, and many more! Join up with your fellow citizens to take on monsters and unleash devastating assaults.
Plot Of Rune Factory 5
By herself, a girl travels through the forest of Norad. She cries as she is almost mauled by a Wooly. Despite having no recollection of what happened, the protagonist wakes up next to the girl and recognizes she needs aid. Reunited, they return to her hometown, but her heroine falls at her own door. Priscilla and Lucy come to the aid of the protagonist as Lucy tries to take a step out of town.
Amnesia sets in when the player awakens at the clinic and runs across Simone and Murakumo. In the end, Lucy’s mother recommends that they test out the Soul Sphere with the player. Seed Station is the next stop on her itinerary, where she will meet everyone and introduce them to Livia. The Soul Sphere glows brilliantly when the player touches it, shocking everyone. According to Livia, the player isn’t a threat.
In exchange for Seed’s assistance, Livia will let the protagonist stay in the Rigbarth Outpost. Then Cecil walks up, claiming to know something about Yuki’s disappearance: her spectacles. By sending Lucy, they commit to working together as a team. The protagonist is taken to the fields by Livia, who instructs Priscilla to educate her on the basics of farming.
Priscilla leads the main character out to the field, where she provides him with an old hoe, a watering can, and some turnip seeds to get him started. Depending on how they’re processed, crops may be consumed raw, cooked, or delivered to market (by 8 AM each morning). She gives the protagonist a tour to Rigbarth Outpost, where he may stay for free. He is advised to take a break and relax, by her.
A note from Livia instructs the protagonist to meet the villagers the following day, and Lucy and Priscilla deliver it to him. The protagonist will see Lucy pursue Julian after speaking with each resident in the hamlet. Even though Hina defeats Julian in the first round, Julian swears to defeat her again the next time they meet.
Is Character Customisation Available In Rune Factory 5?
In Rune Factory 5, you play as a farmer and an RPG at the same time. If you want to experience all Rune Factory 5 has to offer, you’ll need to manage your farm, navigate dungeons, and find love. How much control do you have in the game, and can you design your own character??
Rune Factory 5’s primary characters are predetermined and cannot be altered. Alice and Ares are the two protagonists you may play as. No matter who you choose, you’ll be presented with an identical set of options and gaming mechanics.
Rune Factory 5’s focus on narrative and use of animated cutscenes are the primary reasons behind this. The plot and stunning animation more than makeup for the lack of a dynamic primary protagonist in Alice and Ares.
With character customization, you may play either Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, or its predecessor, Stardew Valley.

Tuesday, March 22, 2022, is the official release date for Rune Factory 5 for Nintendo Switch. In the US, Rune Factory 5 is set to arrive on Friday, March 25, 2022, while EU players will have to wait until Friday, March 25, 2022.
At 12AM ET on the day of release, new titles are often revealed by Nintendo. As a result, gamers in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand may look forward to the following release date for Rune Factory 5.

£49.99 GBP or $59.99 USD is the cost of Rune Factory 5. However, through March 24th, 2022, Nintendo fans may save 10% on Rune Factory 5 by visiting the official Nintendo website.
Rune Factory 5 is now on sale for £44.99 GBP ($54.99 USD) if you get it now.

Will Rune Factory 5 Be Released On The PC?
It will be only available on the Nintendo Switch when Rune Factory 5 is released in the West in 2022. Running Factory 4 Special will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the fall. Newlywed Mode and Veteran Mode add even more material to the 2012 Nintendo 3DS hit. HD graphics and additional cutscenes are included in the remaster.
Development Of Rune Factory 5
Producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto speculated on the possibility of a Rune Factory 4 sequel after the game’s popularity. However, the future of the Rune Factory video game franchise was thrown in doubt when the company that developed it, Neverland Co., filed for bankruptcy in 2013.
Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven was created by Marvelous AQL, who announced in 2014 that they had employed former Rune Factory devs such as Hashimoto. In 2018, Hashimoto resigned from his position as executive officer of Marvelous and founded a new company called Hakama, where he worked on Rune Factory 4 Special and Rune Factory 5, respectively.
Since its announcement in February of this year, the game’s release date has been pushed back until the end of 2019. May 20, 2021, in Japan; March 22, 2022, for the US and Europe; and May 23, 2022, in Europe.
Players may now marry characters of the same sex for the first time in the series. However, this feature was only introduced to the worldwide edition of the game and was subsequently patched into the Japanese version of the game.
Ratings And Score Of Rune Factory 5
Metacritic gave Rune Factory 5 a score of 69/100, which was a bit of a mixed bag. In terms of fighting and gameplay, it was lauded; nevertheless, the visuals and lack of new ideas for the series’ formula were questioned. Although the characters and large range of activities were well appreciated, the game was panned for frame drops.
102,853 copies of the game were sold in Japan when it was released there originally.
