Suzume no Tojimari Filming Complete Or Not?
From January to March 2020, the project was prepared by director Makoto Shinkai and his team. In April, when the Japanese government proclaimed a state of emergency because of the COVID-19 outbreak, they began writing the movie’s script. Shinkai claims that the epidemic had a less noticeable impact on the movie’s production in an interview with TV Asahi. He added that the movie will have a post-apocalyptic concept, but that “the spirit of the times is indelibly engraved into the narrative.”
After the writing was completed in August, the storyboards were created between September 2020 and December 2021, and the animation production began in April 2021. On December 15, 2021, the movie was formally launched at a press conference. Character designer Masayoshi Tanaka, animation director Kenichi Tsuchiya, and art director Takumi Tanji are all on the film’s personnel.
The makers of the movie were identified as CoMix Wave Films and Story Inc. Shinkai declared that the movie’s production was over in October 2022.
Suzume no Tojimari Casting
On July 5, 2022, Nanoka Hara’s identity as Suzume Iwato’s voice was made public. After more than 1,700 people auditioned, Shinkai chose her. Hara, a supporter of Shinkai’s work, said that she could not image being the one to describe the “unforgettable, heart-shaking sensation” she experienced upon seeing one of his movies for the first time in a theatre. Hokuto Matsumura’s identity as Sta Munakata was made public on September 6, 2022.
He said, “I had never seen a character like that in any of the director’s works.” Matsumura therefore used a slightly lower tone to give Sta a voice that he “had never heard before.” His voice, according to Shinkai, “embodies the character” and is “outstanding.” The debut anime voice acting roles for Hara and Matsumura will be Suzume and Sta. The addition of Eri Fukatsu, Shota Sometani, Sairi Ito, Kotone Hanase, Kana Hanazawa, and Matsumoto Haku II to the voice cast was made public on September 29. Suzume no Tojimari People Expectation
A lot of people are looking forward to the movie Suzume no Tojimari, especially after Makoto Shinkai’s successes with Your Name and Weathering With You. The fans of Shinkai are eagerly anticipating this new entry in the actor’s repertoire as there hasn’t been a new Shinkai movie since 2019. Shinkai’s art has gained a significant following recently thanks to his exquisite animation and meticulous attention to detail.
Following Hayao Miyazaki’s retirement from Ghibli, a few anime filmmakers were hailed as potential successors in the field of Japanese animated film. However, after the crazed Your Name premiere in 2016, many people flocked to Shinkai as the upcoming great anime director. Since then, Belle and Mirai by Hosoda have both achieved enormous success, and Weathering With You by Shinkai has also garnered high praise. Many people believe that Hayao Miyazaki cannot be replaced, and it is obvious that they won’t need to do so now that he is coming out of retirement for a third time. We’re eager to see Suzume no Tojimari when it’s released abroad since Makoto Shinkai has established himself as one of the finest anime directors in history thanks to his decades of fantastic work.

Here is the Suzume no Tojimari plot summary:
Suzume, a 17-year-old living in a sleepy Kyushu hamlet, encounters a young visitor who says, “I’m looking for a door.” She pursues him and comes across a weathered door in the mountain ruins that appears to be the sole thing that survived a collapse. Suzume moves toward the door as though drawn therein. Doors start opening one after another in different sections of Japan soon after. Doors that are left open must be closed since disasters can occur on the other side. In the area she entered, the sky appeared to constantly blend with the stars, the setting sun, and the dawn sky. Suzume’s “gate-closing trip” starts as she follows the enigmatic gates.
